The all new Goliath C-frame press included in the 78197 set continues the success of our 78100 Goliath XL press with some added benefits. The new Goliath design features 2X the available working throat space when using most adapters compared to our standard press, and 25% deeper arms than any press including the Goliath XL. This means you can more freely position large adapters or stack multiple inline AND enjoy a longer arm length positioning the press away from interferences working on larger applications including 3-1/2 & 4-1/2 ton trucks. In order to achieve both of these changes that result in a great increase in leverage working against the tool, Astro has implemented our beefiest c-frame design yet while utilizing our in-house trusted forged steel alloy that has made our ball-joint presses professional grade. Designed for work on 2WD & 4WD Domestic, Import & Euro vehicles through the 2020’s the included manual provide information for over 1,100 applications. Along with the C-frame press, all adapters in set are100% forged and the large ball-bearing forcing screw is class 12.9 heat treated for max durability.
