Children's Retreat
day retreats
where stillness, mindfulness & self-discovery meet for a relaxing, holistic experience
Summer offering for children aged 8–12 yrs & 12-14yrs) 🌿
This isn’t a HOLIDAY CLUB—it’s a DAY OF CAREFULLY CURATED GUIDED PRACTICES for children to come home to themselves; slow down, decompress, move their body mindfully and reconnect.
The faster we go, the longer it takes to slow down. Give your child the gift of knowing we’re not designed to be ‘on’ all the time and there’s great power in the stillness. This day creates space in your child’s half term for them to relax and release, and learn tools for finding their own calm in the busy everyday.
Designed specifically for children aged 8-14, this soothing day will allow the space for children to down-regulate from their everyday lives. A thoughtfully immersive session that supports self enquiry, relaxation, confidence and release. Each child will experience a range of ancient and modern wellbeing practices.
Children will experience a blend of grounding practices, mindfulness, self reflections, restorative yoga, breath-assisted stretches, sound bath journey, visual journaling and life coaching, nature connection, breathing for anxiety and sleep, meditation and guided visualisation. They’ll learn the origins and science behind these practices so they can understand as well as feel the benefits.
Spaces are very limited to ensure each child gets the most out of their Deeply Practices experience. Led by Cat Sinton – qualified and experienced Yoga, Pilates and Life Coach. DBS checked.

Safety is my top priority.

What if my child has additional needs?
I am committed to being inclusive and accessible. If your child has any specific needs, allergies, or health conditions, please let me know in advance so I can work with you to ensure they are fully supported.
Do you provide food or snacks?
No. Children should bring their own nut-free packed lunch and snacks each day. Please avoid including nuts due to allergies within the group.
We will be creating a fruit smoothie. Please outline allergies or if you’d prefer them not to have this on the child information form.
Will my child be outside?
Yes! We include nature connection activities, forest bathing, outside breaks, and movement outside wherever possible. We will adapt plans for weather but encourage connection with the outdoors in all seasons (so bring waterproofs if needed!).
What happens in the case of bad weather?
We have a beautiful indoor space where all activities can continue as planned. Some outdoor time may still happen in light rain, so please dress appropriately.
Is the club suitable for children who are new to yoga, coaching, or mindfulness?
